I couldn’t do Blogtober without doing a good old Tag! I saw this yesterday on Mind.Beauty.Simplicity – so go and check that post out after this 🙂
My fellow Blogtober bloggers (or anyone really!- consider yourself tagged.
What is your favorite scent?
Any berry-like so Autumn is a great time of year for me. I’m not a huge fan of summery sweet scents so give me an Autumn candle anytime. For pre-Christmas scents, this one by the White Company is gorgeous.
Do you prefer pumpkin pie or apple pie?
Apple pie is my favourite dessert all year round. Warn with a scoop of vanilla ice cream = chefs kiss! I’ve never actually tried pumpkin pie so that’s one for the food bucket list.
What is one Autumn tradition you have?
In the UK, not only do we have Halloween which comes with its own fun, we celebrate fireworks night (aka Guy Fawkes Night). There’s a whole history behind it that I won’t go into (imagine a guy trying to light up parliament) and I’ve spent some GREAT nights watching fireworks, drinking beverages, and generally having a great time in the name of Guy!
What are you most excited about in Autumn?
I talked about my favourite things about Autumn here. Apart from those mentioned, this month I’m going to the Harry Potter Studios this month which I’m really looking forward to. It was originally booked for last year but we had to cancel it. Planning on doing a Blogtober post about it so keep an eye out for that.
I also love Christmas markets, which start popping up around November time and really get me into the festive spirit. Hoping to go to a few this year.
What is your favorite scary movie?
I wish I could take part in the scary movie theme of Autumn but I’m such a scaredy-cat, I can’t watch any! I’m the kind of person that can’t sleep for a month after watching a scary film. I watched Paranormal Activity 10 years ago and I’m honestly not over it – can’t look at CCTV footage without expecting Katie to make an appearance. Give me a comedy, drama, rom-com any day.
What is your favorite Halloween candy?
Fruit Pastels and/or Parma Violets.
Favorite pumpkin spice flavored thing
Probably in a hot drink!
What is your warmest Autumn memory?
Two very different memories. First, playing with my sister and cousins at the top of my Grandad and Grandmas’s garden when we were kids. Homemade skittles with old lemonade bottle filled with water in particualr. 10/10 would recommend. Secondly, Halloween nights at University. we’d go ALL out and I just remember spending the whole time laughing.
What is your favorite Autumn must-have?
Layers – thick cardigans, gloves, and scarves.
