Monday Motivation: Living for the Now

Happy Monday all! Back with another post hoping to give a little boost of motivation to start the week. This weeks theme is: Living for the Now.

We are a world full of over-thinkers. Playing different scenarios over and over in order to come to some kind of decision. Try to think for a second about some of the most enjoyable times you’ve had in your life. How many of them have happened with meticulous planning and how many were spontaneous? Some of the best times I’ve had have been unexpected, when I’ve let myself just be and lived in the moment.

Thought is good, it stops us from being careless and impulsive to a fault but it can also make us scared. I think we need a balance. The ability to be somewhat sensible whilst allowing new things to happen, saying yes to experiences without assuming the worst (or the best!).

If this week you are presented with an opportunity, try not to overthink it too much. You never know, it could be just what you need.

Have a good week!

  1. Hi Stacy,
Crawled in, from your interview with PoojaG and am so glad I did. Things over here are so delicate. Is this how you view life now?

And on this blog I picked up something:
“I think we need a balance. The ability to be somewhat sensible whilst allowing new things to happen, saying yes to experiences without assuming the worst (or the best!)”.

Sounds like, give life a break and just live!
    Am I wrong?

    Have a good week.
